Being homeless isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to me, but it's only temporary, or at least that's what I'm trying to remind myself the night I almost get car jacked and robbed. Thankfully, I'm saved by a handsome stranger who offers me a place to stay until I can get back on my feet. It should be unsettling...that he knows my favorite foods, my favorite books, how I want to be touched. I have a thousand questions, but I know better than to ask because I don't want to lose this life or this man.
